In 2026, HomeTown Credit Union is celebrating the heart of our communities all year long. Our Swipe Local, Win Big initiative rewards members for choosing local businesses while using their HomeTown Debit Card. Each month, we’ll spotlight a different type of business in Owatonna, Faribault, and Northfield — When members shop at our featured partner businesses and pay with their HomeTown Debit Card, they’ll automatically earn entries for a chance to win $500*.

It’s simple:

Swipe local. Support local. Strengthen local.
And maybe even win big along the way.

How It Works

  1. We choose three local partner businesses each month—one in each of our communities.
  2. You shop there using your HomeTown Debit Card and get entered into the giveaway each day you swipe.
  3. We draw one $500 winner monthly from all eligible entries.

Whether it’s grabbing a coffee, enjoying dinner, or browsing a local boutique, your everyday purchases can make a big impact—and could put $500 in your pocket.

Throughout 2026, HomeTown will be spotlighting 36 local shops, restaurants, and service providers—Swipe your HomeTown card each day for entries to win $500 each month. And, come back next month to see who our new partner businesses are!

*Entrants must be a HomeTown Credit Union member with a HomeTown Debit Card in good standing to participate. Members receive one (1) entry for each day an eligible purchase is made with their HomeTown Debit Card at the designated local partner businesses during the monthly promotional period. Monthly promotional periods run from the first day of each month through the last day of each month in 2026. One (1) winner will be randomly selected each month from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by phone or email. Prize value: $500. HomeTown Credit Union employees, board members, and their immediate families are not eligible to win. HomeTown Credit Union reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time. Participation constitutes acceptance of the official rules. Void where prohibited.
