OWATONNA, Minn. — HomeTown Credit Union is excited to announce a fun-filled community partnership with the City of Owatonna and River Springs Water Park to host a “Cash Splash” event on Saturday, July 11, from 12:00 to 1:00pm

Designed to bring families together for summer fun, the Cash Splash event will give children ages 3–15 the opportunity to dive into the pool and collect real coins scattered across the bottom, courtesy of HomeTown Credit Union. Participants can keep the coins they collect, and a select number of coins will be marked for special prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.

“At HomeTown Credit Union, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to invest in the communities we serve,” said Kurt Halverson, VP of Business Development and Marketing. “This event is a great opportunity to partner with the City of Owatonna and River Springs Water Park to create a memorable, family-friendly experience while putting a little extra cash—and fun—into the hands of local kids.”

The Cash Splash event reflects HomeTown Credit Union’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and creating opportunities that bring people together. Families are encouraged to arrive early, as participation is expected to be high.
