Why Bank With HomeTown?
Credit Unions were founded under the model of people helping people and promoting thrift, and HomeTown Credit Union is structured under this same model. We are a not-for-profit cooperative that exists to serve the financial needs of our member owners. We don’t answer to stockholders, but to each of our member owners.
It is our mission to be our members’ trusted partner for financial success, providing personalized and competitive financial services to the member owners of the Credit Union in a fiscally responsible manner. Our Credit Union Promise is to make a difference by: simplifying your life, working in your best interest while maintaining our cooperative spirit, providing options to help you achieve financial security, and delivering a friendly HomeTown experience.
The Credit Union is overseen by a volunteer board of directors elected by our membership. Our volunteer board is compiled of people who live and work in the communities we serve. Decisions are made locally by staff and volunteers of the Credit Union, with a focus on our members and the communities we serve.
We serve those who live, work, attend school or worship in Dodge, Rice, Steele or Waseca Counties of Minnesota.
