HomeTown Credit Union is proud to announce they will begin construction on a new office location in Owatonna later this summer. The Credit Union plans to move from the existing Hy-Vee branch to the new office in 2019 and will be conveniently located nearby on the site where Jerry’s Auto is currently located.
“While we have greatly appreciated the ongoing relationship with Hy-Vee over the past years, this is a great opportunity to further serve our growing membership and demonstrate our commitment to the Owatonna community for years to come,” says Kim Westphal, CEO. “We are excited to have the opportunity to provide our members with the added convenience of drive-up lanes with an ATM, onsite parking, and the privacy of enclosed offices to support their account and lending needs.”
The new office will be approximately 5000 square feet and will include a multi-use educational room for non-profit and school based programs to use during normal business hours. Construction is expected to start later this summer, and HomeTown is looking forward to opening the doors for business at the new location by June 2019.
HomeTown Credit Union serves Steele, Rice, Waseca and Dodge counties and has been a well-known staple of the Owatonna community dating back to 1974. The credit union has a unique structure of being owned by its members who are represented by an unpaid volunteer board of directors. HomeTown takes pride in its investment and involvement in the communities they serve and decisions being made locally.
