HomeTown is recognized as a community partner and proudly supports the local area through donations, sponsorships, volunteerism and events.

HomeTown Spirit Day

Each year on Columbus Day, team members from HomeTown Credit Union take part in HomeTown Spirit Day, a do-good project that helps those in need.

This year, our team will assemble hygiene kits that we’ll deliver to local community shelters.

Donations include:

  • Band-Aids
  • Bar soap
  • Combs and hair brushes Feminine hygiene products Gel-style deodorant Lotion Shampoo and conditioner
  • Shaving cream and razors (men’s and ladies)
  • Toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • Wash cloths
  • Ziplock gallon bags

Fare for All

With Fare for All, healthy eating can also help to stretch your budget! HomeTown Credit Union is a proud supporter of Fare for All in Faribault and Owatonna by serving as an order and payment site and providing volunteers for order distribution. Volunteer Work

HomeTown Credit Union team members volunteer their time to serve local non-profits and community initiatives such as Steele County Clothesline, Faribault Rotary Strive Program, Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity, and Rice County Habitat for Humanity.
